Bergman Clinics is a leading private clinic group for cosmetic surgery and skin treatments in the Netherlands.

In the past the Clinics' used creams from a number of leading brands, but was not totally satisfied with the results. Particularly with respect to products to help improve the appearance of scars and the skin's texture after laser treatment and other resurfacing precedures. With use of valuable knowledge and experience, the Clinics' specialists developed their own scar cream and after-laser cream.

The cooperation between the Clinics' specialists and laboratory specialists resulted in a formula with a scientific foundation that underwent a thorough long-term development and test phase in the laboratory and the Clinics.

The basis of this formula is the key ingredient Beta Glucan. Investigation of a variety of scientific articles and literature brought the unique features of Beta Glucan to light. After an intensive phase, the specialists agreed on the revolutionary assets of Beta Glucan in combination with specific ingredients. This was enough reason for Bergman to use Beta Glucan as the key ingredient in the development of the creams.

At first, these creams were intended for use in the Clinics for pre- and post-operative treatments.

However, the results were so extraordinary that an increasing number of clients also wished to use the creams at home and introduce them to their own beauty therapists. As a result, beauty therapists became increasingly interested in the products developed in the Bergman Clinic. This resulted in an increased demand for the development of other skincare products with the same quality level.

This ultimately led to the development of a complete, compact skincare line in which Beta Glucan is still one of the most important key ingredients.

Now that the products were also largely sold outside the Clinics, it was important to create a packaging that suited such high-quality products. This resulted in a contemporary design that brightens up the room.

The brand BERGMAN BEAUTY CARE was born.

The interest that was shown in the past three years from other countries was reason to take steps to export these skincare products to other European countries and abroad. Nowadays BERGMAN BEAUTY CARE is available already in 30 countries all over the world at beauty salons and luxurious perfumeries and department stores.
